July-September: 3rd Quarter Fundraiser for Rivanna Area Queer Center
The Rivanna Area Queer Center (RAQC) provides a safe refuge for all LGBTQIA+ people in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties, a loving home for our community, and a resource for our liberation.
Programming hosted at RAQC addresses multiple areas of need: support groups, peer counseling, and on-site health professionals contribute to the wellbeing of our community. Classes and workshops on topics as diverse as screen printing, foraging, and self-defense address additional physical and creative needs. Social events like drop-in hours, mixers, parties, and performances ensure that our region’s vibrant queer culture continues to flourish.
