Morgan started her candlemaking journey in 2020 as a way to express her creativity and to contribute to her community during a time when so much about life felt out of control. During the first two years of Candlecore, Morgan was able to contribute nearly $10,000 to local and national mutual aid efforts. Now, she organizes monthly fundraising events for local community organizations and uses candle sales to continue her financial support of equitable efforts that reflect her values and heart.
Nearly four years after creating Candlecore, Morgan has discovered two things to be true: anyone can be creative and anything can be a candle.
